Nice bet against ARKK. I’m on Burry’s side on this one. He’s not as loud as Cathy or Elon.
When a quiet whale makes a move, one should stop and listen.
Cathie Wood doesn’t think they are in a bubble. She also thinks deflation is a greater risk in the future and not inflation. And that deflation will positively impact technology platforms, or that learning curves will be higher, more sectors will have greater to powerful and new technologies, etc.
On the other hand, Burry expects significant inflation soon. Several other hedge funds are also wagering ARK will keep falling behind the market.
It will be interesting to see how this will play out.
